Hi, I am Tash from Lizzie Kendall Originals and Reborns

I work under the name 'Lizzie Kendall ', as a tribute to my two great grandma's. I have been baby doll obsessed since birth, I had a dolly and teddy shop called 'Oops a daisy' which I ran with Mummy, until we closed so I could concentrate on sculpting (2003). We moved to France and have been renovating our home, which is an old Police station. Finally I have a dust free studio and time to get back to work, creating baby dolls in all mediums, prosculpt, fabric and wool. I am enjoying reborning and have been practicing techniques since my first attempt on a Jesmar baby back around 2000. My babies are painted with many fine layers of Genesis Heat Set Paint, I love the fine details like capillaries, veining, baby scratches and tiny moons on their fingernails. All babies are sealed with heat set matt varnish ,to give a really realistic skin effect. All babies have rooted eyelashes and monorooted Hp locks ( Heike Politz) mohair. The babies are all weighted and scented with a baby powder wafer. I think babies look extra loved in handknits, so I have tried to make something for all my babies. I truly hope you will enjoy my selection of babies, I find it very hard to part with each scrumptious little poppet.x
