Entry to the artist contest at the Peterborough Doll Show on June 13th 2026.
If you are attending the awards dinner, you will be charged half the entry price.
This entry is for one doll to be judged in the OOAK sculpt or silicone blank category. Entries in this category will be judged on their sculpting, so if you enter a silicone blank you need to have sculpted it yourself. If someone else has poured the blank you need to let us know so they can get credit, but the prize will be awarded for the actual sculpting.
Your entry needs to be a one of a kind clay sculpt (either to be sold as such, or it can be pre production/moulding) or a blank silicone sculpt.
You can not enter your doll in any other main category, however you can select to enter your doll into any go the following optional subcategories to be entered for additional awards.
Master Artist (if you have been making this type of doll for more than five years)
Intermediate (if you have been making this type of doll for between one and five years)
New Artist (if you have been making this type of doll for less than a year)
Rooted Hair (your rooted hair will be judged across all categories)
Painted Hair (your painted hair will be judged across all categories)
Dress and Display (your entry will be judged across all categories for its presentation)
Fingers and fine details (your entry will be judges across all categories for fine details such as fingernails, dry skin, milla etc)
Class 6 OOAK Sculpts/Silicone Blanks
1) Entry to the competitions must be purchased prior to the show.
2) Entries need to be brought to the show for judging in person. Entries can be set up from Friday evening, until 9am on Saturday morning. We recommend you do not leave your doll in the competition room overnight.
3) You do not need to be a vendor to enter the competition.
4) Vendors may sell their entry doll on the Sunday. You must not sell, advertise or take orders on your entry if you are not a vendor.5) Winners will be published on our social media platforms the week following the show.
6) All entrants who attend the awards dinner will have their entry, business details and photos shared on social media, and will receive an acknowledgment at the event.
7) You must not show or hint at your entry before the show, or influence friends or customers to vote for your entry.
8) To claim your prize and be in the promotional images for use after the show you must be at the awards dinner in the evening.
If you can not attend the evening, you will need to collect your certificate at the show entrance desk on Sunday morning. Certificates will not be posted.9) All work must be your own including rooting/hair painting even if you are not entering those categories.
10) We have a zero tolerance on fakes and replica dolls, all kits and work must be authentic, and certificates/proof of legitimate purchase will need to be provided if needed.
